More than 40 years ago, Algra introduced the DYNAPIC® piezo keypad as a ground-breaking innovation. At that time, it enabled the metal touch, the key input through a metallic operating front. The new Agnostic Touch replaces the piezo electric input technologies DYNAPIC and DYNASIM. Algra remains loyal to the progress in HMI technologies and introduces the new Agnostic technology. It is groundbreaking in every respect.

Agnostic technology

With Agnostic Touch, highly sensitive force sensors based on strain gauges detect any mechanical bending on the input front. The integrated and intelligent software distinguishes button inputs from other impacts. There are no limits to the material of the operating front. In addition to metallic surfaces such as stainless steel or aluminium, glass, ceramic or a wooden operating front are also suitable. A button signal can be triggered by a finger, pen, key or tool. The force of the keystroke serves as an additional input dimension.

DYNASENSE

The unique DYNASENSE input technology is incredibly robust and requires no complicated electronic interface. The keys of the special membrane keypad feel like capacitive without tactile feedback – at a fraction of the cost.
